Flair’s “Wooooo!” back in WWE opening intro video

Ric Flair’s “Wooooo!” soundbite in WWE’s opening intro has been reinstated effective from yesterday’s Monday Night Raw.

The “Wooooo!” was removed from the video after the allegations against Flair resurfaced following the Dark Side of the Ring episode of the Plane Ride from Hell.

“The most hurtful moment in my ENTIRE career was losing my spot,” Flair wrote on Twitter reacting to the news. “Thank you so much for giving me back my dignity & my life,” he added, tagging WWE and Vince McMahon in the tweet.

In November of last year, Flair said he would not work with WWE again as long as Nick Khan remained president of the company. Flair blamed Khan for pushing to remove him from the signature intro.

“I could never work for Nick Khan in my entire life,” Flair said. “Vince McMahon…I could work for,” he said at the time, stating that he still talks to Vince every now and then and has zero issues with him.

But things got smoothed over when WWE and Flair announced a partnership for a two-hour documentary currently in production and now Flair got his spot back in the video that opens every single show.
