The ankle injury Finn Balor suffered a few weeks ago seems like it cleared as the NXT champion returned to the ring at the NXT non-televised live event in Philadelphia last night.

The sold out show at the Tower Theater saw a main event of Finn Balor teaming up with newcomer Austin Aries to take on Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin in a tag team match. The champ and Aries won the match to send the crowd home happy.

This was Aries’ first day on the road with NXT as the former TNA champion adjusts to WWE life.
