Finn Balor returns to the ring after seven months out

Finn Balor returned to action last night at a non-televised live event in Buffalo, New York and was part of the six-man tag team main event match.

Balor teamed up with Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho to take on Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Triple H. The ending came when HHH took out Sami with the Pedigree, then Balor took out Triple H, Kevin Owens super kicked Balor but then as he turned around he was met with Jericho’s Codebreaker for the pin.

“First day back since SummerSlam, almost seven months, little rusty I felt but it’s good to tip the toes in…obviously great response here in Buffalo and uh just happy to be back in the ring,” Balor said in a quick interview after the match.

Balor has been out with a shoulder injury since the day after SummerSlam. He had to surrender the Universal title that he won the day before and went straight to undergo surgery in Birmingham, Alabama.
