Final two entrants in the NXT gauntlet eliminator match announced

The final two entrants in the NXT gauntlet eliminator match to determine the number one contender for the NXT title were added today.

Timothy Thatcher and Bronson Reed will be joining Kushida, Cameron Grimes, and Kyle O’Reilly in this match, which takes place on Wednesday night on USA Network. The winner of this match will meet Finn Balor in the main event of NXT Takeover on Sunday, October 4 exclusively on the WWE Network.

The gauntlet eliminator will see two men start in the ring and every four minutes, another competitor will enter. The only way to be eliminated is via pinfall or submission. The last man standing will be named the number one contender.

None of the five individuals who are participating in the match have main evented a Takeover before. O’Reilly, as part of The Undisputed Era, did a few main events but never as a solo.
