Ex-NFL player Rob Gronkowski says he’d be ready to participate in a WWE match

Former New England Patriots tight end and big WWE fan Rob Gronkowski was asked about a potential WWE run during a press conference in New York this week where he was there to announce a partnership with Abacus Health Products, a company which produces CBD products.

Gronkowski, who is a personal friend of WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley, explained that he doesn’t think he would be able to do a full-time gig with the company but he would be down for doing “one crazy match.”

He said he could handle practicing for the match and participating, even for a Royal Rumble match or something similar.

“I’m not saying when…maybe five years. I got the rest of my life to do that,” the 30-year-old said. “I’ve always dreamed about doing that…just one time. Going in there and going full out. That may be a possibility, one time…down the road.”

Gronkowski was involved in the ending of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33, helping Rawley win the match.
