Emotional Becky Lynch says it’s sad that relationship with Charlotte deteriorated like this

In an interview backstage following her win against Charlotte Flair, an emotional Becky Lynch said that it was sad that the relationship between the two had come to this.

“To see where we came from, to where we are now, and the hatred going out there…it’s so sad you know?” Lynch said. “That’s somebody who I loved so much, who I trusted with my life, you know? And we’ve been through everything together, we’ve nearly died in a car crash together, but just how much we despise each other now…”

With tears rolling down her face, Lynch said she wanted to rip Charlotte apart, but she didn’t break her arm like she said she would do. “I don’t know if I’m happy or I’m sad about that but I got the win, and now she can’t deny it. I’m the better woman.”

Lynch defeated Flair in the opening match of the show thanks to some assist from the ropes for leverage.
