PWInsider.com is reporting that Drew McIntyre is taking personal time off from WWE and last night’s match against Damian Priest was his final one for a while.
McIntyre was also working injured since he was on the receiving end of Priest’s South of Heaven finisher through a couple of tables at Backlash, with his head missing the tables.
PWInsider adds that McIntyre’s time away from WWE will be “extended” and there’s currently no timetable for his return.
The Scotsman is rumored that he will be filming a movie as well, which might add to that time away.
