Daniel Bryan officially added to Universal title match at WrestleMania 37

One of the main events of WrestleMania underwent a major change yesterday on Smackdown as the one-on-one match between Roman Reigns and Edge for the Universal title has now been changed to a triple threat match with the addition of Daniel Bryan.

The inclusion of the former WWE champion had been expected for a few weeks and with just two weeks left for the show, WWE had to pull the trigger now. All three closed Smackdown last night which ended with a big brawl and Edge standing tall thanks to several chair shots.

The original Reigns vs Edge match was set to close night two of WrestleMania on April 11 and there’s no reason why this match will not retain its status.

Bryan once again finds himself in the same situation he was in seven years ago at WrestleMania 30, being inserted into a match between the champion and the Royal Rumble winner.
