The official social media accounts of Riyadh Season announced that WWE Crown Jewel will not be taking place inside the temporary arena being built and is being moved to a different location.
“We would like to inform you that WWE Crown Jewel has been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours,” the statement said.
The new venue, still in Riyadh, has not been announced. The show takes place on November 7.
Up until this morning, construction on the temporary outside arena was still ongoing, with the stage being set up. Posters were already up in the fan zone and the logo and other material were being fixed to the outside perimeter walls of the arena.
