Cora Jade suffers torn ACL, out for up to nine months

Unfortunately for Cora Jade, her return will be short lived as this past weekend, she suffered a torn ACL at the non-televised live event in Dade City.

Jade wrestled NXT Women’s champion Lyra Valkyria in the main event of the show and landed badly on her leg, injuring her knee. The match was eventually stopped by the referee as Jade was unable to continue and she had to be helped to the back.

Jade recently returned to action following an absence of four months but this injury will keep her out of action for up to nine months.

The NXT women’s division has been hit with quite a few ACL tears, including to the likes of Tegan Nox, Wendy Choo, Nikita Lyons, and Sol Roca.
