Cody Rhodes suffers eye injury in post-match attack, pulled from WWE World

Cody Rhodes suffered an eye injury last night, one of the battle wounds from his war against Randy Orton in the main event of the show.

A bloodied Rhodes had his left eye completely shut and swollen and was tended by paramedics backstage after he returned to the back. The injury is believed to have happened in the post-match attack by Orton, who clocked Rhodes with the WWE title and then gave him the punt kick.

Rhodes was scheduled to appear at WWE World today for photo ops and autograph signings, but due to his injury, will no longer be appearing. An e-mail by Leap Epic Events was sent to all ticket holders, offering them either the chance to exchange to another WWE Superstar or get a full refund.
