Speaking on All The Smoke podcast, WWE champion Cody Rhodes said that the next WWE contract he signs will probably be his last one as an active competitor.
Rhodes told host Matt Barnes that he can only go so long and he knows his number, saying that he was lucky with his father when he got out of wrestling to be closer to them, coaching, and living a regular life.
“I’d like to make it by the time I hit that age that I’m not gone that often or I can’t really walk around that much,” Rhodes said.
The champ, who signed a new WWE deal not so long ago, then said that he would like to finish his days with WWE after the next contract.
“It’s the house that built me, and it’s the house that brought me back,” he continued.
