Appearing on the Flagrant Podcast to talk Street Fighter movie, former WWE champion Cody Rhodes revealed that he has re-signed with WWE and is looking to end his career there.

“I just re-signed with WWE so I’ll end my wrestling career…” Cody said. “I’ll end my wrestling career with WWE but also, my wrestling career with WWE might continue because we are now, and I just spoke to the New York Times about this, and this was such a great moment to share this, we’re now able to go do this stuff.”

Rhodes was talking about being under contract with WWE but still be allowed to do other projects and be able to step away and still collaborate with the company.

The American Nightmare returned to WWE in 2022 after helping launch AEW in 2019. He has since won the big one a couple of times and is considered to be the “face of WWE.”
