Cody Rhodes addresses the crowd after Smackdown

Cody Rhodes addressed the WWE crowd briefly following his return to Smackdown last night.

Rhodes, who had been off WWE television for over a month, came out to take on Drew McIntyre, who continued his beatdown on Randy Orton following the conclusion of their match.

“I just wanna tell you, it’s been one hell of a month for me,” Rhodes told the crowd. “I had a new baby girl, Leilani…I got cast as Guile in Street Fighter…and tonight I got to come back home. Thank you guys very, very, very much!”

Rhodes dropped to his knees and kissed the mat and then saluted the crowd by posing on the turnbuckles as fans sang along to his theme song.
