CM Punk to appear on next week’s Smackdown Tribute to the Troops

CM Punk will be appearing on next week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown which will be the Tribute to the Troops episode.

Unlike previous years, WWE is not taping a separate show for this yearly event and instead has opted to make the whole Smackdown a celebration for the troops.

The show takes place fro the Amica Mutal Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island.

Apart from the first two United States title #1 contender tournament matches, Charlotte Flair vs Asuka was also announced for the show.

CM Punk is expected to be part of Monday Night Raw moving forward after Orton was moved to Smackdown.
