Clash at the Castle breaks some records for WWE

In a tweet promoted by Triple H, it was revealed that the Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff broke a few records for WWE.

The show was the most-watched international premium live event in WWE history and had the largest European gate ever. Clash at the Castle also had the highest-rated fan reaction for an International premium live event as well as the best-selling merchandise for a non-WrestleMania show.

The press conference after the show had the highest concurrent views on YouTube of any non Kickoff show and just like most shows, #WWECastle trended #1 on Twitter for the night.

“#WWECastle was a massive success for @WWE across all lines of business and the #WWEUniverse in the UK,” Triple H tweeted. “The next question is where should we go next?!”

During the press conference, Triple H said that this event was the first step of many to come internationally.
