Christmas Day Smackdown on FOX posts final number of over 3 million viewers

The Christmas Day episode of Smackdown ended up with 3,303,000 viewers, adjusted slightly down from the 3,335,000 viewers when taking out the NFL which was added during the overnight number.

This was the most-watched episode of Smackdown since the October 4, 2019 debut on FOX which did 3.8 million viewers. The NFL and post-game show before Smackdown did 11.5 million viewers so the NFL lead-in led to an increase of over a million viewers from the December 11 episode, the last one which aired on FOX. Smackdown was #3 in the 18-34, 18-49, and 25-54 with 0.68, 0.96, and 1.09 ratings respectively and was only beaten in the demographics by NFL and NBA which aired on ABC.
