Carlito wrestles on Raw after Rumble return

Carlito, the former Tag Team, United States, and Intercontinental champion, wrestled on Monday Night Raw just 24 hours after making a surprise return at the Royal Rumble.

This was the first time in almost 10 years that Carlito wrestled on Raw or any WWE show for that matter. Ever since he left WWE, Carlito mainly wrestled for WWC in Puerto Rico and independent promotions.

On Raw, the 41-year-old teamed up with Jeff Hardy to take on the team of Elias and Jaxson Ryker. Hardy and Carlito got the win with Hardy pinning Elias. At the Rumble, Carlito, with his ever-present apple, came in at #8 and was the fifth one eliminated from the match, lasting 8 minutes and 26 seconds.

“Well…that took only 10+ years,” Carlito wrote on Twitter after his Rumble appearance.

Carlito was advertised for the Raw Legends Night early last month but he never showed up at the event.

Now…that’s cool!
