Brock Lesnar’s SummerSlam opponent announced this week

Brock Lesnar’s opponent for SummerSlam will be revealed this Thursday on Smackdown, just a couple of days before Lesnar returns to the UFC.

Brock has not on been on WWE television since his WrestleMania 32 match against Dean Ambrose and is expected to return to TV after UFC 200 to begin his SummerSlam program. On Saturday, July 9, Lesnar steps back in the Octagon for the first time since December 2011 and faces one of the toughest heavyweights in the UFC, Mark Hunt.

There could be different scenarios for Lesnar depending if he wins or loses his UFC return although Lesnar said he doesn’t care about his “drawing power” in the WWE if he loses his fight. A win would obviously be WWE’s best case scenario while a loss, depending how bad, will be challenging creatively since Lesnar is always portrayed as an unstoppable monster in the ring.
