WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart will be appearing at the Payback pay-per-view on May 1 and will be in the corner of Natalya as she wrestles Charlotte for the WWE Women’s title.

This scenario was already played out at the first ever NXT Takeover event in May 2014 where the two battled for the vacant NXT Women’s title after Paige moved to the main roster. Ric was in his daughter’s corner and Bret was in Natalya’s corner and the two fought a 17 minute classic which was praised by everyone.

Bret has not appeared on WWE television for a while and he recently underwent surgery to remove his prostate cancer.
