Bret Hart doesn’t think Owen will be in the WWE Hall of Fame

In an interview released today by Ring Rust Radio with WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Hart revealed that he’s almost 100% sure that his brother Owen will not be in this year’s Hall of Fame or any time soon.

Hart said that while he wasn’t told officially yet that Owen is not on this year’s list, other family members who work with WWE said it’s not looking likely that Owen will make it.

Bret said that the main obstacle is Martha, Owen’s widow, who is doing everything in her power to bury Owen’s legacy. “I think it’s a real shame and it breaks my heart,” Bret said, calling Martha bitter and a woman who never could understand that it wasn’t wrestling fans or wrestlers who killed Owen.

“I just think it’s really sad that Martha is still so obtuse and has it in her head that the only ones that can grieve over Owen are her and her kids,” Bret added.
