Blake Monroe’s first title defense to come at NXT Gold Rush

The first match for the NXT Gold Rush two-week event will feature an NXT North American Women’s title defense by new champion Blake Monroe.

In a promo which aired last night on NXT while in a bathtub, Monroe gloated about her win and then decided that her first title defense should be in a place fitting for her glamour – New York City.

The promo also had a product placement for Maybelline, which is the official cosmetics partner for WWE.

No opponent for Monroe has been announced yet.

NXT Gold Rush will also have the participation of TNA, AAA, and EVOLVE and will air over two weeks on The CW, with the first show on November 18 and the second show on November 25.

The Theater at MSG will host Gold Rush and tickets are available on Ticketmaster.com starting from $50.75.
