Big E responds to joke by Tony Hinchcliffe on Raw

Former WWE champion Big E was not a big fan of the joke that Tony Hinchcliffe said about him on Raw last night but claimed that he was not hurt by it.

During the broadcast, Hinchcliffe, who will host The Roast of WrestleMania in Las Vegas, cracked a joke about Michael Cole at the expense of Big E, saying that the only thing stiffer than Cole was Big E’s neck.

Appearing on the Raw Recap podcast, Big E said that his feelings weren’t hurt, but has no desire to discuss it and just wants the discourse to be had without him involved.

“I didn’t sign up for this,” E said. “I wasn’t aware of this. He did what he wanted to. People signed off on it. Has nothing to do with me, truly.”

E told Megan Morant and Sam Roberts that when he’s on a show, he’s supposed to talk, but had no interest in really discussing it.

“You know, especially when things are mentioned about me, I should have an opinion on them. It’s just…it is tiring to have to weigh in on everyone’s opinion or whatever they say.”
