Bad Bunny rumored for WWE return

WWE celebrity wrestler Bad Bunny headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show yesterday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the site of WrestleMania 31.

While his performance and show turned political days after his involvement was announced, it’s being reported that the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show was seen by over 133.5 million viewers, breaking a new record in terms of viewership.

There are rumors that Bunny is expected to return to WWE very soon and could be involved at this year’s WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Netflix re-posted a video of him counting down his favorite WWE moments a few days ago and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque” wished Bunny good luck on X prior to the show.

Bunny has three matches under his belt, with the last one coming in May 2023 at Backlash in Puerto Rico in a street fight against Damian Priest.

The Grammy Award winner is currently on tour and will be in South America for most of the month before heading to Australia. He has no shows between March 2 and May 22, which might allow him enough time to get back in ring shape and show up at Mania.
