Backlash back on the WWE pay-per-view calendar for next month

The Backlash pay-per-view name is returning on the WWE calendar with the show set to take place on Sunday, June 14 presumably from the WWE Performance Center. WWE announced the show yesterday during the Money In The Bank event.

The last Backlash event took place in 2018 as last year the event went missing from the pay-per-view calendar.

The Backlash PPV ran for 11 straight years from 1999 to 2009 before it was retired and brought back in 2016 for three more years. The last Backlash was headlined by Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe in Newark, New Jersey.

The show will stream live on the WWE Network.
