The planned match between Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee vs Dom Mysterio and Santos Escobar was changed on Smackdown after Lee was attacked backstage during the show.

Cameras missed the attacker and only showed Lee lying on the floor with Carlito checking him, although rather suspiciously.

As the segment transitioned to the Elektra Lopez vs Zelina Vega match, Andrade came out with Legado del Fantasma but a few minutes later, things changed.

Following the match which Lopez won, Legado attacked Rey Mysterio, who accompanied Vega, but Andrade switched teams and cleaned the ring. Andrade and Mysterio then shook hands and Vega jumped in his arms, reconnecting from their NXT days together.

A few segments later, Mysterio said that Lee is out of WrestleMania and Andrade offered to team up with Mysterio instead.
