Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins are now collectively known as The Shield. That name was rumored to be used last week although it wasn’t confirmed at the time.

The three NXT up-and-coming Superstars had their first interview on RAW yesterday with Michael Cole where they revealed that they are not working for CM Punk, but rather shielding the right from wrong.

Dressed up as an Attitude Era Big Boss Man, the trio eventually attacked Kane at the end of the show, then got beat up by Ryback before CM Punk “rescued” them. The Shield then resumed their attack on Ryback to close the show.
