Alexa Bliss says Nia Jax is just resting and will return soon

Alexa Bliss, the current Raw Women’s champion and best friend with Nia Jax, told the New York Post that Jax is just resting up and having a break, adding she wouldn’t necessarily call it a leave of absence.

“We have talked about it a lot. She’s taking some time off because our schedule it very grueling. It’s very, very demanding. There are times where you are run down and your body can’t do it anymore and you get sick or you get injured from it and you get tired,” Bliss told the newspaper.

She explained that while in NXT, she took some time off and it was never public knowledge. “We all take them once in a while. I am happy when she comes back. I feel like everyone needs that refresher week or refresher moment,” Bliss continued

Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer of the Observer is reporting that Jax will return in time for the upcoming European tour which kicks off in around 10 days.

Bliss also told the NY Post that she will be back very soon. “Absolutely, no doubt in my mind,” she said.
