Alexa Bliss and Seth Rollins become number one contenders on Raw

Alexa Bliss became the number one contender for the Raw Women’s title after she beat Bayley in the opening match of Monday Night Raw. She will now be facing Bianca Belair at an unspecified date for the title.

Belair and Bliss have been on the same team lately and in fact, Belair went in to congratulate her after the win. But for a split second, Bliss nearly turned back to her old evil ways when Bray Wyatt’s logo flashed on the TitanTron. She went for a hug and immediately turned that hug into a Sister Abigail as Bliss turned serious at the camera. Fortunately for Bianca, Bliss snapped out of it and let Bianca go, with the two acting confused over what just happened.

Meanwhile, Bliss was not the only one who earned a title shot as Seth Rollins also defeated Bobby Lashley in the main event to become the number one contender for the United States title. With no heavyweight title on the show, the attention has turned to the U.S. title, currently being held by Austin Theory.
