TNA Slammiversary will indeed be phenomenal as TNA announced last night that AJ Styles will be appearing at the pay-per-view this Sunday.
The ending of Impact saw a vignette with an old TNA box sitting in the middle of a dark workshop. The box then opens and a big glow is seen with old footage of AJ Styles wrestling in TNA.
The camera then pans to show the content of the box, which was Styles’ old, dusty, P1 vest. Someone then blows the dust off the vest and the Slammiversary logo is then displayed.
TNA President Carlos Silva hinted an AJ Styles appearance earlier this week, saying this weekend’s show is set to be phenomenal.
It’s not clear in what capacity Styles will be in at the show.
Styles is one of the most decorated TNA stars and last wrestled for the company in 2013.
