AJ Styles attacked Vince McMahon backstage during the Christmas Day episode of Smackdown Live last night.

Taped last week, the backstage segment did not air for the crowd in the arena and it was the closing angle of the show.

McMahon kept pressing Sytles’ buttons, riling him up to get a response. Vince told Styles that just like him, there is an “animal” inside of him that is “begging” to be freed.

The Chairman and CEO then decided to slap Styles in the face and if McMahon wanted a reaction…he got one as Styles punched McMahon in the face, dropping him to the floor.

WWE officials then entered the room and took Styles out as they tended to Vince on the floor.
