A look at the Raw ratings for 2022

Monday Night Raw dropped by a few thousand viewers on average in 2022 compared to the prior year, with 1,735,000 viewers per episode over 52 weeks. WWE produced 51 original Raws throughout the year as the last Raw was a recap show. Taking that final Raw out would have increased the viewership to 1,748,000. In the 18-49 demo, Raw averaged a 0.46 rating over 52 weeks, also slightly down from last year.

In 2021, Raw did an average of 1,756,000 viewers per episode over 52 weeks and a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Raw crossed the 2 million viewer mark only five times in all of 2022, two episodes more than it did in 2021. The regime change in July also helped viewers tune back in following the departure of Vince McMahon and actually had three weeks with over 2 million viewers in a row, something that hasn’t been done since March 2020.

The most-watched Raw of 2022 was the August 1 episode which was the one following SummerSlam and did 2,230,000 viewers with a 0.61 rating in 18-49. The Raw after Mania was the second most-watched with 2,101,000 viewers and had the highest 18-49 demo number with a 0.63 rating. The most-watched single hour of Raw came on August 1 with the first hour doing 2,443,000 viewers.

The least-watched episode was the December 26 recap show which did just 1,074,000 viewers and a 0.27 rating. The least-watched original episode was on December 12 which did 1,472,000 viewers and a 0.37 rating. The least-watched single hour of Raw was the third hour of the December 26 recap show with just 852,000 viewers.

Below is a look at the 52-week ratings trend of Raw in 2022.
