A new number one contender for the NXT title will be decided tonight as a 25-man battle royal will determine Trick Williams’ next opponent at the NXT Heatwave premium live event.

The news of the battle royal, announced last week by WWE champion Cody Rhodes, had a big twist to it though as Rhodes said that some wrestlers from “different locker rooms” will be in it as well, throwing a curve ball to the champion.

Also set for tonight is Kelani Jordan’s first NXT Women’s North American title defense against Michin and a triple threat tag team match with Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice vs Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx.
