The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament got its finalists after last night’s two semi final matches took place on NXT.
In the first semi final, Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno beat the NXT Tag Team champions Vanity Project for the upset while later in the broadcast, Hank and Tank beat the AAA Tag Team champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno to advance.
Dar and Moreno will now meet Hank and Tank next week on the special November 4 episode of NXT which goes head-to-head with AEW’s Blood & Guts Dynamite.
This is the first time that both teams have entered the tournament.
In the past, winners of the tournament also received NXT Tag Team title shots at a later date.
