The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament started last night on NXT with the first two matches.
Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar defeated Los Americanos to book a spot in the next round while The Creed Brothers defeated Harley Riggins and Jax Presley to move on.
WWE published the bracket for the tournament yesterday, with the left side having BirthRight vs Mini Vikingo and Chaz Starboy Hall, and Fraxiom vs DarkState. Moreno and Dar are also part of the left bracket.
The right side has Tokyo Bad Boys vs Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux, and Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov vs Hank and Tank. The Creeds are part of this bracket.
The two teams who received a bye in the first round will be in action in the second round, with Vanity Project taking on the winning team of BirthRight vs Vikingo and Starboy while El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno face the winners of Tokyo Bad Boys vs Legacy and Van Dux.
