TNA investigating Masha Slamovich after alleged domestic abuse allegations against her

TNA has opened an investigation into Masha Slamovich, their former TNA Knockouts champion, after alleged evidence of domestic abuse surfaced yesterday.

Slamovich dated former MLW star Akira and a friend of his dropped several screenshots of texts and photos showing physical abuse in a Dropbox folder for everyone to see.

“Masha is an abusive piece of shit who feels entitled to everything including a Ribera Jacket,” Akira’s friend wrote. “Anyways enjoy some of her abusive text messages.”

Reacting to the release, Akira said his friend held back for months because he asked her to and he still doesn’t want to say anything, but the situation has now changed.

“Kinda wanna throw up, kinda want to go away forever,” he wrote, adding that he was angry and suicidal since the end of January and revealed that he tried to kill himself three times.

Akira went on to explain what happened in a long post on X, saying that he tried his best but his best was never good enough.

Meanwhile, when Sports Illustrated reached out to TNA Wrestling for a comment, the company issued a statement saying, “We take any allegations like this very seriously, and have begun an internal investigation.”
