PWInsider.com is reporting that Mickie James has departed Impact Wrestling and is no longer part of the promotion, with the company also removing her name from the roster page.

James did not have a contract since her return a few years ago and worked on a handshake deal. Following an injury, James returned two months ago and challenged Trinity for the Knockouts title at Bound For Glory but Trinity came out victorious in that match.

James’ husband, Nick Aldis, was recently given an on-screen role with WWE as Smackdown General Manager.

It’s unclear where James is headed next.
