Kurt Angle undergoes knee surgery

TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has undergone surgery to repair his torn ACL and is facing a few months on the sidelines as he goes through the road of recovery.

This is his second surgery this year and Angle was advised not to wrestle at the TNA Maximum Impact Tour of the United Kingdom, an advise which was ignored by the former champion.

“4 months and 29 days for my return to the ring! Training starts today! Stay tuned,” Angle wrote on his Twitter along with a photo of his left knee all wrapped up after surgery.

At this rate, Angle is looking for an October return to the ring assuming he re-signs with TNA. He could be a free agent by the time he’s ready to perform.
