Joe Hendry replacing Leon Slater at Genesis 2026 pay-per-view

TNA X Division champion Leon Slater will not be appearing at the Genesis pay-per-view tomorrow, with Santino Marella citing the same visa issues as Dani Luna.

Slater was set to defend the title against Cedric Alexander and Moose in a three-way match, but while Slater will not be in town, someone else will take his place.

Former TNA World champion Joe Hendry is returning to a TNA ring to fill the void and will be participating in this non-title three-way match instead. Hendry was announced to be appearing on the show several days ago but his exact involvement was not revealed.

Slater, who is a Brit, is rumored to be appearing on Smackdown tonight from London instead.
