The stars of Impact Wrestling are on the way to India as they prepare for two days of television tapings in Mumbai on March 30 and 31. These episodes will be airing in the four weeks leading up to the Slammiversary show in June.
This tour was supposed to take place last year and is part of a contractual obligation with their broadcast partner Sony Six. Unfortunately, lack of funds and a lot of problems prevented the tour from happening.
According to different sources, not all the talent are traveling to India for these tapings so it will be interesting to see how these shows will be filled.
Impact Wrestling will become the first North American wrestling promotion to tape an event for television from India.
