Impact goes old school on AXS TV tonight with Throwback Throwdown episode

Impact Wrestling will go back in time for tonight’s episode of Impact with the inaugural Throwback Throwdown on AXS TV starting at 8PM ET.

The show, taped from Toronto’s Don Kolov Arena, pays homage to the golden age of professional wrestling with all the Impact stars carrying an old-style name and matches for the International Commonwealth Television Championship, a Loser Leaves Town match, plus a Blindfold match and a special Bodyslam Challenge.

“I’m sure Throwback Throwdown will be talked about for quite some time and perhaps become an annual Thanksgiving week tradition,” said IMPACT Wrestling executive vice-president Scott D’Amore.

Scheduled to be on the show in 80s personas are Ethan Page, Willie Mack, Eddie Edwards, Brian Cage, Tessa Blanchard, Jordynne Grace, Ace Austin, Rich Swann and others.
