Former TNA champion to referee tonight’s main event of Impact

Tonight’s Impact will be live-to-tape from Orlando, Florida, at Universal Studios’ Sound Stage 20 and a former champion will be making his return to the company.

The former champion will be refereeing the main event which will feature Kurt Angle vs Eric Young for the TNA World Heavyweight title.

TNA President Dixie Carter said that the special referee, while a former World champion, is not a current member of the roster, leaving only 8 names available including those of the likes of Sting, Mick Foley, AJ Styles, Rob Van Dam, and Bully Ray.
