EC3 returning to Impact on Tuesday after his surprise video closes Slammiversary

Impact’s Slammiversary ended with a big surprise as after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson celebrated in the ring with the new Impact champion Eddie Edwards, the screen went to black…for an EC3 video.

The video was pretty short, showing EC3 in front of a brick wall holding a glass of whiskey, a throwback to those videos that Impact aired promoting some surprises for the show in a news segment format. He then turns around and slams the glass to the wall which had the III logo projected on it. He then comes back in the frame and stares straight into the camera before the screen once again fades to black.

Impact Wrestling then confirmed that he would be making his return on this Tuesday’s episode of Impact on AXS TV.

EC3 worked for TNA between 2013 and 2018, joining the company after a four-year stint with FCW and NXT. He’s a former two-time TNA World champion but his return to WWE fell flat, winning the 24/7 title only. His time in NXT was slightly better than his main roster adventure although considering the hype surrounding his arrival, WWE completely missed the boat with him.
