Angelina Love departs GFW…again!

Angelina Love announced on Twitter that she has departed Global Force Wrestling after she asked for her release.

“I asked for my release from @IMPACTWRESTLING and it was granted today. Thank you for the years of fun and much love to all my fans,” she wrote.

Love had five stints with the company, starting back in 2004 when TNA was just starting. Her first run was short, and then moved to WWE’s developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling where she spent three years there.

In late 2007, she returned to TNA and formed The Beautiful People tag team with Velvet Sky. She left TNA two years later in 2009 and after a run with Women Superstars Uncensored, she returned to TNA in 2010. Just like this time, two years after her second return, she asked for her release from the company.

In 2014, Love made her third return to TNA in March and feuded with her former tag team partner. Love got pregnant in 2015 and in March of last year, her contract expired while she was pregnant, ending her fourth stint.

In January of this year, she made her return yet again, teaming up with her husband Davey Richards.

In her five stints with the company, the 35-year-old Canadian won the TNA Knockout title six times as well as the Knockouts Tag Team title once.
