Gail Kim suffers concussion at Impact 1000

In a post on social media, Gail Kim revealed that she suffered a concussion at Impact 1000 during the mutli-woman tag team match.

Kim was pulled from the ring by Velvet Sky and bumped her head pretty badly on the floor but continued the match regardless.

“I didn’t want to initially show the clip but I thought in the end, it’s important to show everything,” she wrote. “I want to stress here though: I WILL NOT CONDONE ANY ATTACKING BEHAVIOR OR BULLYING TOWARDS VELVET OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THIS CLIP.”

Kim said that as a pro wrestler, they all know the risks and “shit happens.” She said it’s not her first, and perhaps not even her last, concussion.

The Impact Hall of Famer showed that she has been going for oxygen treatments in chambers at the Physical Chiropractic clinic in Tampa.

Kim was joined by Mickie James, Awesome Kong, Jordynne Grace, and Impact Knockouts champion Trinity in the match against Deonna Purrazzo, Tasha Steelz, Angelina Love, Gisele Shaw, and Savannah Evans.

Big tag team match scheduled for tonight’s Smackdown

PWInsider.com is reporting that a huge tag match is planned for tonight’s Smackdown.

Following last week’s shenanigans from the Grayson Waller Effect, Solo Sikoa is teaming up with his brother Jimmy Uso to take on AJ Styles and John Cena.

Cena has not wrestled since WrestleMania 39 in a match which he lost against Austin Theory.

The match is not being promoted by WWE yet and will be set up on the show but as always, things could change, and as we know in WWE, things change a lot.

The other two matches officially announced for tonight are IYO SKY defending her WWE Women’s title against Asuka and Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar take on The Street Profits.

WWE returning to The Kia Forum for the last non-televised event of 2023

WWE Live

WWE is going back to the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California for the first time since 2015 for a Holiday Tour SuperShow on Saturday, December 30.

The date was announced today and it is the last WWE non-televised live event for 2023. Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown will be on hand for the show.

Before their return in 2015, WWE had not visited the arena in over 20 years as it’s historically a tough place to draw, although AEW broke that when they drew a packed house last year.

AEW will host back-to-back Collision and Full Gear pay-per-view on November 17 and 18 at the Kia Forum this year.

WWE announces packed schedule for Christmas/New Year week

WWE Live

WWE today announced 12 live events as part of the 2023 Holiday Tour with tickets for all shows going on sale next Friday, September 29.

WWE Superstars will perform a total of 10 shows in six days between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The Christmas Day episode of Raw was not part of the list so that could be a Best Of show or else a show that is taped on a different day.

The company will hold two shows every day from December 26 through December 29, with New York, Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, Montreal, Houston, Toronto, and Las Vegas hosting. There will be another show on December 30 in Los Angeles and a live Raw on January 1 from San Diego.

The other two dates announced are Raw from Grand Rapids on November 20 and a live event on December 20 from State College.

NXT Women’s champ says she’ll be on Smackdown in Glendale tonight

Becky Lynch uploaded a post on social media promoting the “NXT Women’s Championship World Tour” dates which also includes tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown.

Smackdown tonight is live from the nearly-sold out Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona where over 11,000 fans will be on hand.

Tonight’s Smackdown is her only appearance on the blue brand and interestingly enough she’s not scheduled for NXT next week, although she is being advertised for the NXT show after No Mercy on October 3.

If she’s part of the TV portion or dark match following the show just for fans in the arena remains to be seen.

Types of TRT implementation and the benefits of working with Testosterone Replacement Anaheim

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) at Testosterone Replacement Anaheim is a medical treatment often prescribed to men who experience low testosterone levels, a condition known as hypogonadism. This therapy involves the administration of testosterone, typically through injections, patches, or gels, with the aim of restoring the hormone’s levels back to a healthy range. As testosterone plays a crucial role in maintaining muscle mass, bone density, and sexual drive, TRT can significantly improve the overall quality of life for men dealing with low testosterone.

Types of Testosterone Replacement Anaheim

There are several types of Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) available, each with its unique method of administration and frequency:

  1. Injectable Testosterone: The injectable form of TRT involves testosterone being directly administered into the muscle tissue. Two primary types are commonly used: testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate, which are typically injected weekly or biweekly. The benefit of injectable TRT is the consistent release of testosterone over a period of time, resulting in fewer fluctuations in hormone levels. However, potential downsides include discomfort from the injections and the need for regular doctor visits for administration, unless self-injection is an option.
  2. Transdermal Patches: This is another common form of TRT. Transdermal patches or gels are applied directly to the skin, usually on the upper arms, shoulders, or abdomen. The testosterone is then absorbed into the bloodstream over a 24-hour period. This method offers the advantage of easy, non-invasive administration and the benefit of maintaining steady levels of testosterone throughout the day. However, potential drawbacks include skin irritation at the application site and the possibility of transferring the hormone to others through skin-to-skin contact.
  3. Topical Gels and Creams: These are applied directly onto the skin, typically on the upper arms, shoulders, or thighs. The testosterone is gradually absorbed into the bloodstream throughout the day. It’s a highly convenient method since it’s straightforward to use, non-invasive, and maintains steady levels of testosterone throughout the day. A potential downside is skin irritation at the application site, and there is also a risk of the hormone being transferred to others through skin-to-skin contact. Moreover, it requires daily application, which might be inconvenient for some.
  4. Oral Testosterone Preparations: These are capsules or tablets ingested orally to boost testosterone levels. They offer convenience as they are easy to take and do not require any application or injections. However, oral testosterone preparations can put a strain on the liver over time, as the hormone must pass through the liver before entering the bloodstream. Also, they may lead to fluctuations in testosterone levels throughout the day, unlike the more continuous release provided by other methods. These factors make oral preparations less commonly prescribed for TRT.
  5. Buccal Adhesive: This method involves the placement of a special buccal adhesive tablet inside the upper lip, where it dissolves and releases testosterone directly into the bloodstream through the mucous membranes. It offers a convenient means of administering TRT without injections or patches and provides steady levels of testosterone throughout the day. However, there may be some discomfort associated with insertion, as well as potential irritation of the mucous membranes.
  6. Implants: Subcutaneous testosterone implants are regulated solid pellets of testosterone which are inserted beneath the skin. They slowly release testosterone into the bloodstream over a period of time, usually between 3 and 6 months. The benefit is that it requires fewer doctor visits and offers consistent levels of testosterone throughout this period. On the other hand, insertion may be uncomfortable, and some men may experience an initial spike in testosterone levels before the hormone is slowly released.

Overall, there are a variety of Testosterone Replacement Therapy options with different forms of administration and varying effects on hormone levels. It’s important to discuss the available treatments with your doctor to determine which option might be best suited for you. With proper TRT, men dealing with hypogonadism can enjoy a higher quality of life with improved muscle mass, bone density, and sexual drive.

It is also important to consider potential side effects that may arise from TRT, such as acne or water retention, which should be discussed with your doctor beforehand. Additionally, Testosterone Replacement Therapy does not necessarily cure hypogonadism; it simply helps manage symptoms and improve overall quality of life. As such, regular monitoring is recommended to ensure that levels remain in a healthy range. With the right approach and proper care, Testosterone Replacement Anaheim can be extremely beneficial for men dealing with low testosterone levels.

Benefits of Implementing TRT in Testosterone Replacement Anaheim

Implementing Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) at Testosterone Replacement Anaheim can offer multiple benefits for men experiencing low testosterone levels:

  1. Enhanced Muscular Strength: Testosterone plays a critical role in building and maintaining muscle mass. Therefore, TRT can help improve muscular strength and endurance, contributing to better physical performance and overall body composition.
  2. Improved Bone Density: Testosterone is essential for bone mineral density. Its supplementation can help prevent osteoporosis and reduce the risk of fractures, contributing to a stronger skeletal structure.
  3. Boosted Sexual Drive: Low testosterone levels are often associated with reduced sexual drive. TRT can help restore libido and improve sexual function.
  4. Better Mood and Energy Levels: Testosterone has been linked to mood and overall energy. Men undergoing TRT often report improved mood, reduced fatigue, and increased vitality.
  5. Improved Cognitive Abilities: Some studies suggest that testosterone can enhance cognitive abilities, including memory and concentration. Therefore, TRT could potentially contribute to better mental performance.
  6. Increased Energy Levels: Low testosterone can lead to feelings of fatigue and low energy levels. Supplementation through TRT can help restore one’s natural energy levels, allowing for a more active lifestyle.
  7. Improved Insulin Sensitivity: Testosterone is responsible for maintaining glucose homeostasis, so its supplementation can help improve insulin sensitivity and reduce the risk of developing diabetes
  8. Reduced Cardiovascular Risk: Studies have found that TRT may be beneficial in reducing cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension or cholesterol levels by helping to balance hormones in the body.

These are just a few of the many potential benefits that Testosterone Replacement Anaheim has to offer. It’s important to discuss all your options with your doctor and understand the risks associated with TRT before beginning any form of hormone treatment. With the right approach, men dealing with low testosterone levels can enjoy an improved quality of life thanks to Testosterone Replacement Therapy.

John Cena and The Rock pay tribute to Dolph Ziggler following his release

Two of the greatest who ever stepped foot inside a wrestling ring – John Cena and The Rock – paid tribute to Dolph Ziggler on social media after he was one of the 20 individuals cut yesterday.

“One thousand five hundred and fifty four matches. @HEELZiggler #Respect,” wrote John Cena on X.

The Rock followed a bit later on, saying these days are tough for those who gave their all in the ring.

“Like @HEELZiggler. What a decorated @WWE career and I’ll always be a supporter and fan. Can’t wait to see what he (and everyone) does next,” The Rock continued.

Ziggler spent 19 years with WWE and has the third most televised matches in WWE history with 1,554.

His championship cabinet is no joke either. Ziggler is a two-time World Heavyweight champion, one-time NXT champion, six-time Intercontinental champion, two-time United States champion, one-time Smackdown Tag Team champion with Bobby Roode, two-time Raw Tag Team champion with Drew McIntyre and Bobby Roode, and one-time World Tag Team champion with Spirit Squad.

Ziggler also won the 2012 Money In The Bank, successfully cashing in his briefcase on Alberto Del Rio the night after WrestleMania and got one of the loudest pops ever.

12 more WWE stars get released

The WWE releases continued during the evening yesterday with a total of 12 more getting cut.

Dana Brooke, Mansoor, Mace, Dabba Kato, Shanky, Quincy Elliot, Yulisa Leon, Brooklyn Barrow, and recruits Kevin Ventura-Cortez, Alexis Gray, Daniel McArthur, and Bryson Montana were given the pink slip.

Dana Brooke has spent 10 years with the company and recently went back down to NXT to restart her career there.

Shanky was brought back to wrestle at the Superstar Spectacle in India a few weeks ago after he was unused for months.

Earlier in the day, eight individuals from the main roster were also cut, most notably Dolph Ziggler who had been working there for 19 years.

Third year in a row that Elimination Chamber won’t take place in the United States

For the third year in a row, Elimination Chamber is going outside the United States with WWE announcing that next year’s event will be taking place from the 60,000-seater Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.

In 2022, WWE took the show to Saudi Arabia. The show was held at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah where over 33,000 fans attended the event. Brock Lesnar walked out of Jeddah as the winner of the Elimination Chamber that night and also won the WWE title in the process.

In 2023, Elimination Chamber moved up the border to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A sold out crowd of over 17,000 jam packed the Bell Centre as the Bloodline storyline continued, with Montreal’s favorite Sami Zayn coming close, but falling short of winning the WWE title against Roman Reigns.

With WWE’s first visit to Australia since 2018, this show is expected to be a hot ticket and a big crowd will be on hand. It’s likely that the full stadium will not be used although depending on ticket sales, it could be expanded if there’s enough demand.

NXT rating for 09/19/2023

NXT drew 824,000 viewers this, keeping the momentum from last week despite the show drawing 26,000 viewers less than the last one. This was the second most-watched episode of NXT of 2023 so far. In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew 0.24, down 0.02 from last week and placed #1 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: SpoilerTV)

WWE still shopping around for a new home for Raw and NXT

WWE logo

Monday Night Raw and NXT are currently “homeless” as the new $1.4 billion deal for Smackdown on USA Network meant that USA had to give up on the rights to keep the long-running Raw and NXT on their network.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote in a story today that the market for the shows is “extremely active” with both traditional linear networks and streaming services interested. The story also says that there are “unexpected players” in negotiations as well.

NBC Universal paid $1.325 billion for five years for Monday Night Raw back in 2018 which equaled $265 million per year. That was more than the $205 million annually that FOX paid to get Smackdown.

Smackdown now is worth just a bit more than what Raw was worth five years ago and if Raw follows the same percentage increase as Smackdown, it should be in the $360 million range annually.

TKO shares took a massive hit following the news of Smackdown moving to USA, down almost 14% as of this writing.

Eddie Kingston wins the ROH World title

Eddie Kingston won the ROH World championship last night on Dynamite: Grand Slam, defeating Claudio Castagnoli in a title-for-title match where Kingston’s NJPW Strong Openweight title was also on the line.

This is Kingston’s first run with a major title and ends his 15-year feud with Castagnoli. The two respected the “code of honor” and shook hands at the end of the match.

Kingston had a shot at the ROH World title earlier in the year during the Supercard of Honor show during WrestleMania weekend but the BCC member came out victorious on that occasion.

Castagonli’s reign lasted a total of 284 days and started at the Final Battle show in Arlington, Texas, on December 10, 2022. It was his second run with the title after losing it three months prior to Chris Jericho at Dynamite: Grand Slam.

FOX exiting wrestling business after NBCU scoops up Smackdown

FOX is exiting the wrestling business just five years after entering a partnership with WWE to broadcast Smackdown on Friday nights.

FOX shelled out $205 million annually to bring the blue brand to FOX but the new deal with NBCUniversal’s USA Network is reportedly worth $1.4 billion, a 37% increase over what FOX originally paid.

The $1.4 billion figure comes to around $280 million per year and while Smackdown has enjoyed a fairly large audience thanks to the power of network television, it will be very hard and nearly impossible to replicate those numbers on cable television.

Sources said that FOX did not really work hard to keep Smackdown on its schedule despite consistently ranking #1 in 18-49 throughout the year.

Shelton Benjamin and Dolph Ziggler released from WWE

Shelton Benjamin and Dolph Ziggler have been released from WWE as well according to Fightful.

Benjamin started his WWE career in 2000 with OVW and was then brought up to the main roster in 2002. He was released in 2010 but returned to the company in 2017 to team with Chad Gable and later formed the Hurt Business with Cedric Alexander and Bobby Lashley. His last match was on Main Event just several days ago where her teamed with Alexander to take on The Viking Raiders.

“I have been released from my WWE contract. I thank WWE staff, talent, and of course the fans for everything. Something ends, something new begins. Looking forward to my next chapter,” he wrote.

Benjamin is a three-time Intercontinental and Tag Team champion as well as a one-time United States champion.

Ziggler started with WWE in 2004 and has been employed with the company ever since – a total of 19 years. He started with The Spirit Squad and eventually transformed himself in a serious contender, winning multiple titles along the way. Ziggler has not been used on WWE television for months, with his last match coming in May.

Ziggler is a former two-time World Heavyweight champion, one-time NXT champion, two-time United States champion, six-time Intercontinental champion, and four-time Tag Team champion.

Aliyah, Elias, Riddick Moss, and Top Dolla all released from WWE

Aliyah, Elias, Riddick Moss, and Top Dolla have been released from WWE as the trimming of the roster continues.

“As of today I am no longer apart of WWE,” wrote Aliyah. The 28-year-old Canadian originally signed with WWE in 2015 and was called up to the main roster in 2021. Her last match came in September 2022, losing the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles she held with Raquel Rodriguez. Aliyah has been injured and was not used again.

Elias started with WWE in 2014 and was called up to the main roster in 2017. He has not been used lately on WWE television and his last match was in May on Raw in a battle royal. Looks like the new WWE owners did not want to walk with him anymore! “From Drifting onto the scene.. To WrestleMania with John Cena & The Undertaker.. To Millions around the world for years Walking With Elias.. A #1 ITunes Album & To being my own younger brother (ZEKE) while traveling the world.. It’s been a blast. God is Good,” Elias wrote.

Riddick Moss is the fiancee of Emma, who earlier today also got her pink slip. The 33-year-old also signed in 2014 and made his main roster debut six years later. Moss was last wrestled earlier this month on Main Event. “Well I did it – I graduated from WWE. I know a lot of people think my career really took a downturn once Mr. Levesque took over, but, in actuality, my per match fee skyrocketed through the roof,” he wrote on X. “Other promoters, get ready to back the brinks truck up.”

AJ Francis, better known as Top Dolla, was rehired by WWE in August of last year after he was released during the COVID-19 pandemic. His last match was also this month at a non-televised live event and his last TV match was in August against LA Knight. Yeah!

Rick Boogs released from WWE

Rick Boogs got his pink slip from WWE today according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, joining Mustafa Ali and Emma as the three confirmed releases so far.

Boogs joined WWE in late 2017 as part of NXT and moved to the main roster in mid 2021, teaming up with Shinsuke Nakamura. An unfortunate injury at WrestleMania 38 kept him out for nine months and he returned in January of this year.

His last match was a battle royal at SummerSlam on August 5. He had not been featured on television since May.

Emma released from WWE

Just 50 minutes after reposting WWE’s poster of Elimination Chamber taking place in Australia and calling it “a dream,” Emma wrote on X, “Oops never mind. I just got released… I am no longer with WWE.”

She was the second to announce her departure from WWE who are apparently on a firing spree today.

The 34-year-old from Australia returned to the company in October of last year following a five-year absence.

Her last match came on the July 10 episode of Monday Night Raw where she lost in a 90-second bout to Shayna Baszler.

Mustafa Ali departs WWE

Mustafa Ali announced on X that he is no longer working with WWE.

“I look forward to the future,” he wrote, signing the post with his real name Adeel.

The 37-year-old from Chicago started with WWE in 2016 as part of the Cruiserweight division of NXT. After the main roster call up and a long hiatus from TV, Ali was unveiled as the leader of the Retribution faction, a faction which bombed big time on television and plans were quickly abandoned.

In January 2022, Ali publicly requested his release from WWE and it was denied. He spent a few months off television before returning in early May.

He has been working on the NXT roster since June of this year.

Smackdown moving to USA Network in new five-year deal

WWE and NBCUniversal announced a five-year domestic media rights partnership that will bring Friday Night SmackDown back to USA Network beginning October 2024.

Additionally, beginning in the 2024/25 season, WWE will produce four primetime specials per year that will air on NBC, marking the first time WWE will air on the network in primetime.

“NBCUniversal has been a tremendous partner of WWE for decades,” said WWE President Nick Khan. “We are excited to extend this longstanding relationship by bringing SmackDown to USA Network on Friday nights and look forward to debuting multiple WWE special events annually on NBC.”

“It’s a privilege and thrill to continue NBCU’s decades-long partnership with WWE which has helped cement USA Network’s consistent position as the top-rated cable entertainment network in live viewership” said Frances Berwick, Chairman, NBCUniversal Entertainment. “With Friday nights on USA, primetime specials on NBC, and the WWE hub on Peacock, we’ll continue to use the power of our portfolio to super-serve this passionate fanbase.”

But the bad news is that USA Network is not intending to keep Monday Night Raw or NXT so WWE will be looking for a new home for those according to individuals close to the negotiating.

The news did not go down well with investors as TKO went down 11% at the start of the trading day.

Raw has been on USA Network for the majority of its existence apart from a few years on TNN and Spike. NXT has been on USA since September 2019.
