Former TNA Knockouts champion Tasha Steelz has re-signed with TNA. The news, made official by TNA, was broken by Denise Salcedo’s Instinct Culture.
“A loyal, trusted member of Order 4, Tasha is a former Knockouts World Champion and two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion. She made her pro wrestling debut in 2016 and first appeared in TNA Wrestling in 2019,” TNA wrote in the announcement.
Steelz told Salcedo that she had “48 hours to think about it” and described herself as a loyal girl who likes to stay loyal.
“I know that this Knockouts division from day one has helped me and a lot of women in the division has helped me and there’s no way I can turn my back on these ladies,” Steelz said. “So, I have to stick around.”
The 39-year-old has been working for TNA since 2020.
WWE announced that the first hour of Night of Champions will air live on ESPN on linear television in addition to the full broadcast on the ESPN app with unlimited plan.
Since WrestleMania, the first hour of each premium live event has aired either on ESPN or ESPN2, with the idea to attract casual viewers to subscribe to the app to continue the rest of the broadcast.
Two matches will air in this first hour, but those matches have not been announced yet.
Speaking of Night of Champions, WWE has removed WWE Women’s champion Rhea Ripley from advertising for the show and replaced by WWE Women’s United States champion Tiffany Stratton. Ripley is nursing a knee injury and unlikely to wrestle over the next several weeks. Stratton does not have a match on the show just yet, but that could change.
Night of Champions will have a 1PM ET start time due to the time difference.
Visa issues is preventing certain international WWE Superstars from appearing on television according to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com.
Alvarez noted how the company has been facing “significant” issues in getting work visas squared away for their talent and that is leading to prolonged absence from television.
Superstars such as Joe Hendry and Ilja Dragunov have not appeared on television in quite a while and rumors are that this is also related to talent getting their visas.
Non-U.S. talent must travel back to their home country and apply for a working visa at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate, and wait just like everybody else to get their appointment. Getting a work visa is also not a guarantee, with the Trump administration tightening certain rules.
WWE is not the only company facing these issues, with AEW also looking at similar problems with some of their Mexican talent.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that Tessa Blanchard has been released from TNA Wrestling.
The controversial Blanchard has apparently refused to sign an exclusive deal with TNA Wrestling and requested her release, prompting the company to let her go.
Blanchard wasn’t full time with TNA and is currently also part of the CMLL roster, a promotion which has a working agreement with AEW while TNA has a working agreement with WWE, which also owns CMLL’s rival in Mexico, AAA.
Her last match for TNA came on May 15, winning against Harley Hudson on Impact. The 30-year-old has been working for TNA since late 2024.
A new match has been added to the Night of Champions premium live event set for later this month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On Raw last night a vignette with Seth Rollins aired where he asked for one more match against Bron Breakker, adding that their feud had to end with no interference from The Vision.
“At Night of Champions…Bron Breakker, Seth Rollins, steel cage,” Rollins said.
The two are 1-1, with Breakker winning at Backlash and Rollins winning on Raw.
This is the fourth match announced for the broadcast so far.
Just a few weeks after undergoing triceps surgery, Logan Paul returned to WWE television on Raw.
Wearing a huge cast covering almost his whole left arm, Paul made his way out with his tag team partner Austin Theory to try and lure Je’Von Evans to The Vision.
Evans eventually denied the invitation, leading to a match between Evans and Theory which ended in a DQ after Bron Breakker came out and speared Evans. The Street Profits then evened the odds for Evans.
Paul has been injured since The Vision’s successful tag team title defense against The Street Profits on Saturday Night’s Main Event. While doctors told Paul he’ll be out of action for up to six months, The Maverick is trying to prove doctors wrong by returning early.
Hollywood actor Eric Andre suffered the wrath of The Bloodline last night on Raw, or more specifically, the one of Jacob Fatu.
Reigns officially welcomed Fatu to The Bloodline in the opening segment of the show, with Fatu making it clear that he will not take orders from Jimmy or Jey and only responds to the OTC.
As the segment ended and the faction made its way to the back, Reigns greeted Andre who was at ringside. Jey didn’t want any of it, but Jimmy was more nice and shook hands.
Fatu couldn’t care less of Andre and as soon as he passed, Andre slapped Fatu on the shoulder and then touched the Ula Fala. That was enough to snap the Samoan Werewolf, who grabbed Andre, pulled him over, and threw him in the ring where he followed with several blows to the head.
Referees and officials tried to break things down and Reigns also came up on the apron to tell Fatu to stop…but then, did the throat slash hand signal to a big pop and Fatu hit Andre with a big splash from the top rope.
Fans chanted “one more time,” but Reigns told Fatu to exit the ring. He then had a change of heart, and told Fatu to do it one more time to another big pop from the fans.
Andre is in the upcoming Street Fighter movie with both Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He’s also in a Netflix movie titled Little Brother with John Cena.
The first two finalists in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments punched their ticket to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last night on Raw.
Iyo Sky was the first one to advance to the final of the Queen of the Ring after she defeated Judgment Day member Raquel Rodriguez. She now faces the winner of the Liv Morgan vs Charlotte Flair match which takes place this Friday on Smackdown.
Oba Femi then beat AAA Mega champion Dominik Mysterio in the men’s first semi final. He faces the winner of the Je’Von Evans vs Jey Uso match, also set for this Friday’s Smackdown.
The finals will happen at the Night of Champions premium live event on Saturday, June 27 live from the Kingdom Arena.
The winners of each tournament receive a title shot at SummerSlam.
Don’t expect Drew McIntyre back on WWE television soon as Deadline is reporting that the former champion has signed on to appear in an upcoming movie titled The Last Druid, headlined by Russell Crowe.
Filming has already started in Barcelona and the Canary Islands, Spain.
McIntyre vanished from WWE television after WrestleMania due to his involvement in the movie Highlander, which coincidentally enough also had Crowe as part of the cast. Former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista is also in the movie.
This historical action-drama, directed by William Eubank, focuses on a Roman Emperor who discovers a hidden Druid stronghold in the mountains of Caledonia.
AEW stars Will Ospreay and Alex Windsor are now husband and wife after the two got married over the weekend.
Ospreay announced the news via a post on social media, writing, “Hey, we did it,” along with a photo from the wedding.
The British star revealed his wedding date after he had to turn down an invitation to appear at the NJPW show at the Osaka-jo Hall yesterday set for the same day.
The duo got engaged in mid-June 2025, just a week after Windsor announced that she signed a deal to join All Elite Wrestling.
Amazing Red is returning to TNA at the Slammiversary pay-per-view, making his first appearance for the company since 2011.
The three-time X Division champion will be wrestling on the show and it’s likely that he will be part of the Ultimate X match for the X Division title.
“Before – too young, too scared, too shy…” Red wrote on X. “Now – grown, wise, taking what’s mine!”
The 44-year-old has been a fixture in the House of Glory indie promotion for the past couple of years.
Slammiversary 2026 takes place live from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts and has a special start time of 4PM ET.
PWInsider.com is reporting that the June 29 episode of Raw will air live on Netflix at 6PM ET instead of the usual 8PM ET start time.
That is due to WWE also taping an episode of Smackdown immediately after the show, an episode which will air on Friday, July 3 on the eve of Independence Day.
The Smackdown on the eve of Night of Champions will be taped a few days earlier as well, on June 23 from London’s O2 Arena. It is unlikely that this airs live on Smackdown on the day of for international viewers. This will limit WWE’s time on the ground in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia due to the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
The June 29 episode of Raw and subsequent Smackdown tapings will be held at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the home of WrestleMania IV and V.

Appearing on the State of Mind with Maurice Benard show on YouTube, former WWE Women’s Intercontinental champion AJ Lee revealed that she will be featured in the upcoming season of WWE: Unreal on Netflix.
Lee told Benard that she has been balancing two careers in one life lately, spending almost a year in WWE, writing and producing for her own production company, and also filming WWE: Unreal.
AJ last appeared at WrestleMania, losing the Intercontinental title back to Becky Lynch. She then wrote a note on social media which felt like it was a “goodbye for now” letter to her co-workers and fans.
Netflix renewed the docuseries WWE: Unreal for a third season in January of this year. The new season will focus on John Cena’s final few months in WWE ahead of his retirement match against Gunther on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE President Nick Khan, WWE World Heavyweight champion Roman Reigns and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel were all at the UFC Freedom 250 event last night at The White House.
Levesque and Reigns were shown and acknowledged – pun intended – on the broadcast, with Triple H pointing his finger at Reigns as the lower third graphic with their names came on the screen.
Shane McMahon his sons were also at the show, and one video posted by Shane’s son Declan showed his father having a conversation with Nick Khan. Linda McMahon, a member of President Trump’s cabinet, was also in attendance.
It was a big night for the UFC and TKO in general with a successful UFC Freedom 250 on Paramount+, an event which cost the company $60 million. TKO did not sell tickets for the event but they expected to recover around half of that amount in sponsors and donations.
One of the most important nights in TKO’s short history will take place today as the UFC heads to The White House for UFC Freedom 250, an event taking place on The White House South Lawn with President Donald Trump and many of his administration in attendance.
The highly-anticipated event will feature the undefeated Ilia Topuria vs Justin Caethje for the UFC Lightweight title in the main event and Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane for the UFC Heavyweight title in the co-main event.
There will be around 4,500 people on the South Lawn under the “claw” structure which was built specifically for this event. Up to 80,000 fans will be witnessing the show from The Ellipse where large screens have been installed.
Over 1,000 active military members will be part of that 4,500 audience on the South Lawn.
TKO President Mark Shapiro has estimated that this event will cost TKO around $60 million and may recover half of it through donations and sponsors. No tickets were sold for the event.
The main card will kick off at 8PM ET and will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States. For other countries, check out UFC.COM for the full line up of broadcasters.
The first two women to advance to the Survival of the Fittest match for the AEW TBS title were revealed last night.
Former AEW Women’s champion Hikaru Shida was the first one to qualify after she beat Zayda Steel and then Persephone defeated Julia Hart to punch her ticket.
Four more qualifying matches will take place over the next two weeks to determine all six contenders in this match. Survival of the Fittest is usually an ROH gimmick match and will be used for the first time on AEW television to crown the new AEW TBS champion.
The title was surrendered by Willow Nightingale due to an injury.
The match takes place on the July 1 episode of Dynamite.
The AEW Women’s title will be on the line at Forbidden Door with champion Thekla defending her title against Stardom’s Starlight Kid.
Thekla, who worked for Stardom before coming to AEW, has been thrashing the promotion and its president for quite a while now and the champ yesterday issued the challenge to any of her former colleagues to come over and challenge for the title.
Later in the broadcast, a video of the 24-year-old Starlight Kid appeared, confirming the match.
Starlight Kid has never appeared on AEW television before, so this will be her AEW debut. She is a former multi-time champion in Stardom.
