It seems that there is some bad blood between the injured Piper Niven and Jade Cargill after Niven sarcastically applauded Cargill on X for using the Black Hole Slam on Tiffany Stratton last night.
On X, Cargill reposted a video of the move from a fan and wrote, “Damn this was beautiful.” But Niven had none of it and gave her a “5/10” and described it as “a bit sloppy.”
Addressing Cargill, Niven said that she did not transfer Tiffany’s weight on her chest, so she never really had her and that’s why she slipped out.
“You got that double bump effect and her head verberated on the mat,” Niven wrote. “But you looked great, and who cares who you hurt so long as you’re alright, right?”
Niven is currently out injured and has not wrestled since August 2025. She has undergoing neck surgery since then and her wrestling career could very well be over.
Cargill and Niven only had one one-on-one match that dates back to May 2024 in the Queen of the Ring tournament first round where Cargill won.

Kevin Owens, who has been out of action since prior to WrestleMania 41, reacted to his best friend Sami Zayn winning the WWE title at Night of Champions.
“I’ve missed a lot of things I wish I hadn’t in the last 15 months because of this injury but today is, by far, the one I wish I had been there for the most,” Owens wrote in a post on X.
Owens credited Zayn for bringing out the best in him both as an ally and a foe because Zayn is “THE best” and when you’re consistently that good for that long, you become undeniable.
He added that Sami become the WWE champion was inevitable.
“He has deserved that moment for a very long time and I am so happy to see him finally get it,” Owens wrote.
The two main evented WrestleMania together, teaming up to end The Usos’ historic title reign in the first WrestleMania tag team main event since the first one ever.

Gunther and Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis ended up in a brawl after the show yesterday, planting the seeds for Aldis to lace up his wrestling boots one more time.
To say Gunther was not happy for losing the match was an understatement and he blamed Aldis in a backstage segment.
Gunther kept poking Aldis and called him a jealous failed wrestler. At that point, Aldis told Gunther to “get the f*ck off me” and pushed him back as the two started brawling.
Several officials came in to separate the two and Aldis informed Gunther that he would see him on Friday on Smackdown.
There have been rumors that Aldis was possibly earmarked to make a return to the ring and it seems that this was a good setup for it.
Oba Femi and Iyo Sky were crowned King and Queen of the Ring last night at Night of Champions in Riyadh.
In the first match of the night, Oba defeated Jey Uso to win the tournament and earn himself a shot at a world title of his choosing at SummerSlam. Femi went through Penta and Dom Mysterio to reach the finals.
In the second match, Iyo Sky defeated WWE Women’s World champion Liv Morgan to win the Queen of the Ring tournament. Just before the match, Danhausen cursed Morgan and she slapped him in return. Sky beat Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez before making the trifecta on the Judgment Day.
She also earns a title shot at SummerSlam and was quick to announce she would be going after Liv Morgan’s title on the show.
ARC Raiders, Embark Studios’ breakout extraction shooter, sold over 15 million copies after its October 2025 launch by getting one thing right: tension. Nowhere is that tension more deliberately engineered than in its crafting system. On paper, crafting is just how you make better gear. In practice, it is a chain of gated steps stacked on top of a brutal risk mechanic, and clearing it consumes enormous amounts of time. ARC Raiders’ blueprint-and-crafting loop is a near-perfect case study in how a game manufactures a grind — and, with it, demand for help getting through it.
How Crafting Actually Gates Progression
You cannot simply craft a high-end item in ARC Raiders. Every advanced craft requires four separate things to line up at once: the blueprint that unlocks the recipe, a workbench upgraded to the right tier, the specific materials the recipe demands, and the time to assemble all three. The Workshop runs on a set of specialized stations — the base Workbench, Gunsmith, Gear Bench, Medical Lab, Refiner, Explosives and Utility benches — each upgradeable from Tier 1 to Tier 3, and there are roughly 75 blueprints in the game to chase. Top-tier gear sits behind the intersection of all of them, which means progression is gated not by one wall but by four that must be cleared together.

Once acquired, a blueprint is not automatically yours. You learn it back at Speranza, the hub, via a “Learn and Consume” action — the blueprint is spent on use, and already-known ones are simply marked as learned. That detail matters because of the mechanic sitting on top of everything.
The Extraction Risk That Changes Everything
Here is what makes ARC Raiders’ grind distinct from almost any other crafting system: you must successfully extract from a raid, alive, with a blueprint in order to keep it. Find a rare blueprint deep in a dangerous zone and it is not yours yet — it is a liability you now have to carry out past every other raider and ARC machine hunting you. Die before extracting, and it is gone. This turns each blueprint from a simple drop into a high-stakes escort mission, and it is why experienced players stash blueprints in a protected slot the instant they find one.
In most games you grind for the recipe. In ARC Raiders you grind for it — and then have to survive a firefight to keep it.
The Material Grind Underneath
Unlocking a recipe is only half the battle; you still need the materials to craft it, and those escalate in tiers. The foundation is basic loot — Metal Parts, Rubber Parts, Fabric, Plastic, Chemicals — picked up constantly during raids. Above that sit refined components: Mechanical Components, for instance, are guaranteed by refining seven Metal Parts and three Rubber Parts, or dropped by tougher mechanical enemies. At the top are the rare late-game materials — ARC Alloy, ARC Circuitry, and the components behind advanced weapons like Magnetic Accelerators and Queen Reactors, which generally only drop in deep runs or seasonal events. Your passive helper, the rooster Scrappy, trickles in basic materials between raids, but the high-tier grind is firmly hands-on.
Stack the layers and the true cost of a single top-tier craft becomes visible: hunt the blueprint, survive to extract it, learn it, upgrade the right bench through its tiers, then farm escalating materials up to the rare bracket. Each layer is gated by the one before it, so the grind does not add — it multiplies.

ARC Raiders uses Expeditions — a seasonal progression system that resets your character to chase fresh rewards — and taking one means you forfeit blueprints you have not already learned. Each Expedition therefore restarts a slice of the crafting grind, refreshing demand on a seasonal cadence in the same way WoW’s seasons do. The grind is not just steep; it is designed to be run again.
ARC Raiders’ crafting system is a clean illustration of how a modern game builds a grind worth paying to skip. It is not one obstacle but a compounding chain — blueprint, extraction, workbench, materials — with a lose-it-all risk mechanic layered over every step and a seasonal reset that runs the whole loop back. Tenth time was the charm for Sami Zayn, who last night at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, won the WWE championship in a triple threat match against Cody Rhodes and Gunther.
The ending of the match came when Rhodes hit a double Cross Rhodes on Zayn and Gunther at the same time, but Rhodes went for another one on Zayn, who he held on to, but the Canadian went for a cradle and pinned the champion, sending the crowd and the commentary team bananas.
It was a full circle moment for Zayn, who when WWE started going to Saudi, was not even allowed to participate due to him being born to Syrian parents. Today, he was the mega face in the match, with the Saudi crowd clearly behind him.
A very emotional Zayn received the WWE title from the referee in the middle of the ring, and then celebrated by jumping in the crowd with the fans.
“Ten years I’ve been in WWE,” Sami said. “They’d said I would never do it. I would never win it, well here it is!”
CM Punk used an old Terry Funk quote to explain his absence from television while returning on commentary for CFFC last night in Rockford, Illinois.
Asked where he’s been since he doesn’t do any CFFC events outside of the state of Illinois and he hasn’t been on TV for weeks, Punk joked by saying, “I don’t travel anymore, my horse is sick!”
Later in the show, Punk said that his horse “Terry” was “doing better.”
The late WWE Hall of Famer used that term when he did an interview with Jim Cornette, explaining it as a way to avoid doing traveling for WWE and to avoid confrontations with Vince McMahon when he didn’t agree with creative.
The story goes that McMahon wanted Funk to be one of Jerry Lawler’s Knights during Lawler’s feud with Bret Hart and he did not want to do it, so he left a note to Vince, saying his horse was sick and had to go back to Texas.
When Funk was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame several years later, McMahon first interaction with Funk was jokingly asking him how his horse was doing!
There have been rumors that not all things between WWE and CM Punk are rosy at the moment and obviously his carefully chosen quote adds more fuel to the fire.

Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA with yet another installment of the Pick’em report. Last year, we introduced the “King of the Summer” Pick’em series, where Colin and I made our picks from three different major shows happening on the same weekend.
I thought it was a lot of fun, so we’ve decided to run it back – introducing the KING OF THE SUMMER PICK’EM II (Electric Boogaloo). We’re going to make picks for three upcoming shows this weekend – select matches from NXT’s Great American Bash, the entire card of WWE’s Night of Champions, and a select match from AEW’s Forbidden Door.
As always, whomever has the high score is the rightful WOPC Champion, and if there’s a tie…? Just like in Wrestling, the champion retains on a draw.

NXT Championship
Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Naraku
Magnum: We kick off the Summer Pick’em series with an intriguing match-up. The former EVIL has immediately landed a place as the #1 Contender to the NXT Championship. Will Mason Rook get involved? Will Tony be able to recover from his eye injury? I can’t say for sure, but I’m going to run with the “new guy” logic – a debuting big name that is not “homegrown” is going to take a loss before becoming champion. I’ll take Tony to retain over Naraku.
Colin: To be honest, Tony D’Angelo never did anything for me and while his gimmick worked at the time, he’s not champion material. There’s a reason he’s been stuck in NXT since 2021. Naraku is a former IWGP champion and I’m hoping he does EVIL things and wins the title on Sunday.
NXT Women’s Championship
Lola Vice (c) vs. Kendal Grey
Magnum: These two have been too nice to each other. It’s time for someone to step up and embrace that killer instinct. These are both badass performers, but I think Kendal will put in a little more time in NXT before she takes that next step. I’ll stick with Lola to retain, but similar to Tony/Naraku, this one is far from over.
Colin: Kendal Grey could very well be the best women’s wrestler at the moment. So smooth, so sharp. I think she will be a big hit on the main roster with her talent. Vice has been doing great so I don’t think they’re ready to take that title away from her, so I’m picking Lola to retain.
King of the Ring Finals
Jey Uso vs. Oba Femi
Magnum: Okay, now we’re getting into the Night of Champions part of this Pick’em. I’ve shared some pretty strong opinions on this final – I am concerned that Brock is going to cost Oba the match, and that would be a very tired and predictable way to set things up. If someone in TV land is seeing this, you’d be better off doing the following: Have Oba win this thing, and have him challenge Cody for the WWE Title…only…don’t do it at Summerslam. Do it at Saturday Night’s Main Event at MSG. Full circle moment between Oba and Cody. At that show, you can have Brock cost Oba the title to set up the final chapter. Whatever they decide, please do not give us Jey vs. Cody at Summerslam. Nobody wants that. Nobody is asking for that. Jey’s trajectory should lead him to LA Knight at Summerslam. If they are smart (and I hope they are), Oba wins this in convincing fashion.
Colin: I am not ready for the Summer of Jey. We already had one and it didn’t really set the world on fire. The dude just gasses out after he does his stupid hand moves on the turnbuckle. There’s going to be a lot of angry people if Jey wins, and you know what, I feel that’s what they’re going to do. Someone will screw Oba and Jey will be crowned King of the Ring.
Queen of the Ring Finals
Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan
Magnum: Now here’s a situation where they can cash in on Liv’s greed. As everyone knows, Liv is the Women’s World Champion, and if I’m not mistaken, she hasn’t defended the title ONCE since winning it at WrestleMania. But that’s besides the point. Tonight, she has a chance to win the QOTR and challenge Rhea Ripley (?) at Summerslam for the WWE Women’s title. Talk about a Blonde Ambition Tour. Anyways, her plan is going to come crashing down thanks to an implosion within the Judgment Day. Iyo wins, and from there we may get Iyo vs. Rhea at Summerslam. Maybe. As long as Rhea is not injured. Who knows, at this point.
Colin: Either scenario where Iyo or Liv win here is good, I think. Liv and Rhea obviously have a huge history together and Iyo and Rhea are BFFs. The only good thing I do not like if Liv wins is that her title won’t be up for grabs at SummerSlam and unless they’re unifying them, it makes no sense for her to win. I’m hoping Iyo gets the victory here but I have a feeling Liv will snatch it.
WWE Women’s United States Championship
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill
Magnum: Speaking of “who knows”, here we are circling back to these two. Didn’t they just fight months ago for a bigger title? WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE. This is the kind of stuff that people are talking about (when they talk about the product having no direction). Where are we going and what are we doing here. If I am forced to think about this any more than I have to, I’m going to need to lie down. Just give me Jade so we can move on from this.
Colin: Jade looked good wrestling Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy, I thought it was her best match yet. But of all people, please, not these two again. I’m a big fan of Tiffany Stratton and would have preferred if she took on someone else more her caliber. No matter what, it’s Tiffy Time for me.
WWE United States Championship
Trick Williams (c) vs. Ricky Saints
Magnum: Poor, poor Melo. Once again, he’s on the outside looking in, while Ricky Saints continues to do his best Rock impression. I know he wants to be Dwayne Johnson, but it comes off more like Jim Varney. If you know, you know. Again, we need to get away from whatever this is and move on to what the people want to see – Trick vs. Melo. Summerslam. As for tonight? Trick retains.
Colin: I am not particularly looking forward to this match because it does not interest me that much. I don’t get the Saints hype, not in AEW, and not in WWE. There should only be one winner here and that’s Trick Williams.
Steel Cage Match
Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins
Magnum: I’ve been going back and forth on this one – I think I figured out the loophole. In a cage match, you don’t have to pin someone to get the win. That means Seth could technically defeat Bron without anyone taking the fall. Ultimately, this program was designed to get Bron over, so let’s hope they can get to the finish line. As for Night of Champions? Give me Rollins to escape the cage and get the W.
Colin: Hopefully this is the last time The Vision and Seth Rollins collide. Both parties need to move on to something fresh and new. I would hope that Bron Breakker is the one that goes over today because he’s the one who needs it. Somehow, someway, Bron gets it.
Undisputed WWE Championship – Triple Threat
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn
Magnum: I like how Sami slithered his way into this match. Pretty greasy stuff from the last real good guy. But hey, his ride or die fans still love him…I think. At least, I hope. I really don’t care. As for this match? This could be the low-key show stealer. I don’t think we’re quite done with this angle, so expect another f*ck finish and Cody to retain.
Colin: I was thinking it was Gunther’s time to get the title here, but if CM Punk is coming in for a program with Rhodes for SummerSlam, then I think that Cody will somehow retain the title. Punk vs Rhodes interests me more and is a bigger SummerSlam match than whatever they can come up with for the other two that’s for sure. Cody retains.
Owen Hart Cup – Men’s Final
Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana)
Magnum: Ooooh a BONUS match! We rarely do AEW Pick’ems, but hey, it felt right. This is the SUMMER PICK’EM SERIES and damn it all, we’re Kingmakers here at W-O. As for this tournament…I was disappointed by how predictable each round of the tournament has been. At least the final has some intrigue. Swerve has been a man on a mission, but Will’s comeback from his neck injury is the real story here. Or maybe it’s him trying to fit in with the Death Riders. Or maybe it’s the morality play he’s having with Kenny Omega. Again, who knows. Either way, the spotlight is going to shine bright on Ospreay as he will win the Owen Hart Tournament and go on to All In and face WHOMEVER the AEW Champion is (please don’t be Mark Briscoe).
Colin: I don’t even have one shadow of a doubt that this won’t be Will Ospreay’s time. They’re heading into All In at Wembley where 3/4ths of the stadium is empty. They could move some more tickets probably having Ospreay main event going for the title. Without question, Ospreay wins it.

The MFTs have split up and after the group was down by two people following the departures of JC Mateo and Tanga Loa, two of the other three remaining members of the faction decided to leave their leader solo, pun intended!
On Smackdown last night, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga informed Solo Sikoa that they had enough of Solo’s continued obsession with the Tribal Chief and wanted out. They told him that they talked with the Elders, and effective immediately, they are no longer under Sikoa.
Solo has been trying to recruit people to join him to fight The Bloodline but it looks like his sales tactics leave a lot to be desired as no one wants to join his war.
The MFTs was formed last year and are former WWE Tag Team champions.
There seems to be another Bloodline member incoming as Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that Zilla Fatu has been seen multiple times at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando lately, fueling speculation that he was on the way to the company.
Zilla is the son of the late Umaga, who started training wrestling after he served six years at a Texas prison for aggravated robbery at the age of just 15.
The now 26-year-old has turned his life around and went to train with Booker T, where he now regularly competes for Reality of Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling, and House of Glory.
Former TNA star Joe Doering passed away yesterday at the age of 44 after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He was just recently moved to hospice care.
Doering had brain cancer three times over the past several years and it’s the reason he had to stop wrestling in 2022.
“We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Joe Doering,” TNA wrote. “A commanding in-ring performer and a wonderful person, he will never be forgotten. We offer our deepest condolences to his fans, his friends and his family.”
AEW also offered its condolences even though he was never part of the promotion.
“AEW and the wrestling world mourn the passing of Joe Doering. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and fans during this difficult time,” the company wrote on X.
Several of his former colleagues, including Josh Alexander, Adam Pearce, Gail Kim, Lance Archer, Frankie Kazarian, and many more paid tribute to Doering on social media.
Apart from a long stint in TNA, Doering also wrestled for All Japan Pro Wrestling.
CM Punk was back on television yesterday, doing commentary for Cage Fury Fighting Championships on the UFC Fight Pass streaming service.
Punk was back at the promotion after several years, and worked the event in Rockford, Illinois.
When asked by his two broadcast colleagues if he would be at the next event, Punk asked if it would fall on a Friday. When the reply was in the affirmative, Punk put doubts he’ll be able to work it.
“It’s a Friday? I don’t know if I can make it,” Punk said while cracking a smile.
Asked if he had any big news to share to go viral with, Punk joked that he gained 20 pounds recently and the suit he was wearing was a little tight!
Punk is expected to move to Smackdown once he returns to WWE, hence the comment of unable to work the CFFC show on a Friday night.

Blake Monroe finally made her WWE main roster debut in her home town of London, England, taking out Giulia on Smackdown last night.
The former NXT Women’s North American champion made her presence felt after Giulia beat her former ally Kiana James, cutting her celebrations short.
Monroe was set to be called up to the main roster after WrestleMania 42 but her debut kept getting pushed back for some reason. She was involved in a quick backstage segment in an episode in May but other than that, it was all vignettes and promos from her.
The artist formerly known as Mariah May will be looking to cement her place in the Smackdown women’s division after a not so memorable stint on NXT.

The Night of Champions Countdown show will start at 11AM ET and airs live and free on YouTube and on WWE’s social media properties.
The actual PLE will kick off at 1PM ET in the United States and 8PM local time. The first hour of the show airs on linear ESPN for free in the U.S. The full show is available via the ESPN app with unlimited plan or else via Netflix for those internationally.
The Night of Champions post-show will then commence immediately following the conclusion of the event and airs on YouTube as well as WWE socials.
