The Natural Disasters announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025

WWE today announced that The Natural Disasters – the team of Earthquake and Typhoon – will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025.

Formed in 1991 by Jimmy Hart, the two dominated the tag team scene in WWF and had memorable feuds with the likes of The Legion of Doom, The Nasty Boys, Money Inc., and others. The team dismantled in 1993 and shortly after their break-up, Earthquake left WWE and Typhoon also left afterward.

They won the WWF Tag Team titles once during their run, winning them from Money Inc., in 1992, but losing them back to DiBiase and IRS just 84 days later.

“A larger-than-life pairing that changed the game regarding tag team wrestling, The Natural Disasters will be remembered forever for their collective destruction and indomitable fighting spirit as they take their place in the WWE Hall of Fame as members of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025,” the WWE.COM announcement said.

Typhoon, who also worked as Tug Boat, is 68 years old and is the uncle of Cody and Dusty Rhodes. His son, Berkley, works for WWE as a timekeeper. Earthquake passed away in 2006 at the age of 42 from bladder cancer.

WrestleMania 41 ticket prices go down as sales pick up again

WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 tickets started moving again this week according to ticket tracking service @WrestleTix, with WWE distributing over 1,500 tickets per night over the past few days.

WrestleMania Saturday is currently at 45,915, with 1,786 tickets moved over the last week while WrestleMania Sunday is at 47,730, an increase of 1,643 tickets in the same period.

On both nights, the Allegiant Stadium is currently set for 51,707 seats, well below its capacity of just over 60,000. As things stand, apart from WrestleMania 37 which had limited attendance, this would be the least-attended Mania since WrestleMania 22.

Two-day combo tickets have gone down in price as well, with the cheapest being $550 in the 300 level for both nights. For single nights, the cheapest for Saturday is $275 while the cheapest for Sunday is $300.

There are still a lot of sections closed off behind the stage that could be opened depending how many they sell in the next few weeks.

Reigns vs Punk vs Rollins made official for WrestleMania 41

What could very well be the main event of WrestleMania Saturday was made official last night after Smackdown with a huge, triple threat match featuring Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk.

All three were on Smackdown in Bologna, Italy and took the last segment of the night in front of a red-hot Italian crowd.

It was Roman Reigns who entered first along with his Wiseman and Bologna had no problem acknowledging their Tribal Chief. Seth Rollins came out next and told Reigns that there would be no Roman Reigns without Seth Rollins and there would be no Seth Rollins without Roman Reigns so this needs a new chapter.

Out came CM Punk to another massive pop and he was ready to fight. He told Paul Heyman thank you for delivering The Tribal Chief on a silver platter for him, a comment which confused Reigns. But as he turned around to talk to Heyman, Punk attacked and all hell broke loose.

All three man then started a big brawl with a lot of security, officials, and referees trying to restore order. One by one, each pointed to the WrestleMania sign as Smackdown went off the air.

“All three of these men have dominated our industry… They have had historic reigns as WWE Champion,” wrote Triple H afterward. “…and they all cannot wait to beat the other on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Rollins. Reigns. Punk. #WrestleMania”

He had not been used on AEW television since July 2024.

His brother, Penta, made his WWE debut in January and is now a member of the Raw roster.

WWE aired a teaser for Fenix on last week’s episode of Smackdown.
