WWE/AAA Worlds Collide and Money In The Bank 2025 pick’em report

Hello everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA bringing you this month’s Pick’em report. Today, we’re doing DOUBLE DUTY! Colin will be defending the WOPC Championship in a two-show marathon, covering both WWE/AAA Worlds Collide and Money In The Bank!

Here’s how the point system will work for today’s picks:

  • The WWE/AAA Worlds Collide picks will be worth 1 point per match.
  • The non-ladder match picks during Money in the Bank will be worth 2 points per match.
  • The ladder match picks during Money in the Bank will be worth 3 points each!!

With that in mind…ON WITH THE PICKS for AAA/WWE Worlds Collide!

  • Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice vs. Chik Tormenta and Dalys

Colin: Vaquer is probably one of the best things on WWE television right now. She is a proper Superstar. One of the only two on double duty today, which says a lot. I don’t see her and Lola Vice losing this one, so my pick goes for Stephanie and Lola.

Magnum: Stephanie has certainly made a splash since debuting on the main roster earlier this week. First, she picks up a MITB qualifier win, and now she’s part of the AAA/WWE showcase event. What a weekend the Dark Angel has lined up for herself! Expect Vaquer and Lola Vice to take the victory in this tag team match.

  • Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown

Colin: I’m not very familiar with the AAA trio here to be completely honest although I have seen them in action. Legado Del Fantasma has not been used greatly on WWE television and I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the job here. But they do need a win and Berto and Angel challenging for the tag team titles at the next AAA show, I’m gonna pick Legado for the W.

Magnum: Looking forward to this Trios match, and I’m glad that Legado finally have something they can sink their teeth into. I liked that vignette last night on Smackdown – Will that translate into victory today? As much as I’d like to say “si”, I’m going to go with the established AAA names. I’ll take the Pagano, Psycho Clown, and the Son of Wagner Jr.

  • Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado vs. Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana

Colin: Sucks for Joaquin Wilde who misses this show but that’s the nature of the beast I guess. Dragon Lee has also not been used to his potential on WWE TV and I wonder why they even got him. Maybe he gets a much-needed win today? I’m picking Lee, Del Toro, and Dorado to win.

Magnum: Dorado was a last-minute replacement after Joaquín Wilde was injured with a concussion – it will be great to see Lince back in a WWE ring! That said, this is meant to be a showcase for some of AAA’s top talent – expect a victory for Octagon, Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana.

  • Fatal 4 Way – NXT North American Championship
Ethan Page (c) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Laredo Kid vs. Rey Fénix

Colin: For me, Kid and Fenix are automatically out of the equation since they don’t appear in NXT, which leaves Page and Evans. Evans is a modern-day Jeff Hardy and Page is great in his role. He should be on the main roster to be honest and will drop the title before that, but not today. Page wins.

Magnum: This is a unique addition to the card – essentially, Laredo Kid is the only AAA talent in this match, but he’ll be a great addition to what was already an exciting match on paper. I expect Ethan Page to retain the title, but this is going to be fast, furious, and high-flying. Look for this match to steal the entire show.

  • AAA Mega Championship
El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable

Colin: There’s no way they are stripping off El Hijo del Vikingo the title just a week after winning it, right? Although the idea of Gable being the AAA Mega champion would be hilarious. Okay, not going to happen. Vikingo wins.

Magnum: I find this match quite intriguing – I’m curious to know why they decided on Chad Gable getting the title shot (instead of El Grande Americano)…the only plausible theory is that Gable loses this match, and then maybe El Grande Americano uses the briefcase to cash in at a later point? If that’s not the case, then I don’t know why the roles are reversed – Gable should be in MITB, and EGA should be wrestling for the AAA Mega Championship. Either way, if Gable performed as EGA, I’d roll with him…since he’s not? Vikingo to retain.

…and now, ON WITH THE PICKS for Money in the Bank!

  • WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
Last Chance Rules – Becky’s Last IC Title Shot vs. The Handshake
Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Colin: Everyone is expecting Becky to win this one. I’m hoping Bayley comes in and costs her the match, allowing Lyra to win and retain the title and then Becky can move on for her program against Bayley. Becky doesn’t need the IC title. Lyra wins.

Magnum: As the stipulation mentions…if Becky loses this match, she’ll never get another IC title match for as long as Lyra remains champion. On the other hand, if Becky wins, Lyra must shake hands and acknowledge Becky as the better wrestler. Usually, in a Last Chance match, I’ll pick whoever has their back to the wall or is in a “no way out” type of situation. I get the sense that The Man has her back to the wall here, so I’ll take Becky to win the title and get her handshake.

  • Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul

Colin: After last night’s Smackdown, I can’t think of an alternate ending other than Cody and Jey reigning supreme at the end of this match. Jey is headed for a big championship defense on Monday and needs a win here. Cody needs his revenge on Cena, even if there’s nothing on the line. Will we see Travis Scott? I say we will! Cody and Jey win.

Magnum: I don’t even know what to make of this match. Then again, at least we didn’t get the six-man tag involving Travis Scott! As for this match…it’s going to be interesting to see where they put this match on the card. If it’s the Main Event, then we have the intrigue of a possible cash-in. If not? Look for this match to put Cody back on the map as the #1 Contender to the WWE Championship. I’ll takes Rhodes & Uso to win it.

  • Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Alexa Bliss vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Giulia vs. Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer

Colin: All of them would make a great contender to be quite honest. I’m gonna tell you what I want, and not necessarily what’s going to happen: GIULIA. She’s my pick. They need to build her to the monster she was in Japan. That Giulia is awesome and if they can replicate that here, then she’s going to be money.

Magnum: Boy, oh boy, the odds in Vegas have been ALL OVER THE PLACE for this match. At one point, Naomi was a serious favorite, but in the markets I’ve seen…there’s two names that have also emerged as favorites – Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley. Lost in the shuffle is poor Roxanne Perez – I really thought they’d rocket her to the briefcase, but it looks like they’re going to let this thing with Liv simmer just a little bit longer. Because of the huge jump in odds, I’m going to take a chance and roll with the Dark Angel. Give me Stephanie Vaquer to win the whole thing!

  • Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Solo Sikoa vs. LA Knight vs. Penta vs. Seth Rollins vs. Andrade vs. El Grande Americano

Colin: I mean the obvious one to win here is Seth Rollins, right? I don’t think Penta, Andrade, or El Grande Americano have a shot in this but they will all contribute greatly to this match. Solo has been kinda drifting with no purpose since the Bloodline saga somewhat ended. LA Knight would be a good pick, but his U.S. title run was disastrous in my opinion. Brings me back to Rollins, who in this role, would make the most sense.

Magnum: Again, the odds in Vegas have been jumping over the last 1-2 weeks, although there’s been one clear favorite at the top – Seth Freaking Rollins. Since becoming a Paul Heyman Guy, Seth has aligned himself with the Brons (Reed and Brekker) and has made his destination crystal clear – he wants to once again be the World Heavyweight Champion. It’s fascinating to watch the odds for LA Knight and El Grande Americano drop, but I guess the question for me is…who is on the horizon for either of those guys? The most likely scenario is the one I mentioned above (where Gable loses to Vikingo by El Grande beats him after cashing in the briefcase to challenge for the AAA Mega Championship). For now, let’s settle on Rollins to win, but it’ll be a pleasant surprise if either Knight or El Grande leave with the briefcase.

Alright everyone, that’s going to do it for the Pick’em Crew! We’ll be back later this month when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia…until then, this is @TheMagnumDA signing off! Thanks as always for checking us out!
