Hey, everybody! It’s @TheMagnumDA LIVE in downtown Minneapolis for SummerSlam 2026!! I’m here with Brother Bull, and we’re joined in spirit by the fearless Colin Vassallo for Night One of the Pick’em report! This is going to be a straight up pick’em for tonight – the two night journey to the WOPC championship starts now! What are we waiting for?
ON WITH THE PICKS!
Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Iyo Sky
Magnum: Continuing with the story that the Judgment Day is CURSED, I think this is truly the beginning of the end for this stable. Something catastrophic means Liv is going down. Iyo Sky wins the title.
Colin: Over 100 days as champion, zero title defenses. Nothing great about Liv’s title reign, but not her fault, of course. I feel like Iyo should win tonight, but I will not be shocked if Liv walks out of there with the title. In fact, Liv is my pick. Trouble trouble.
Bull: Should be a tremendous match. Iyo wins or we riot!! Kudos to Liv for her record amount of title defenses. Tonight, Iyo will win the title.
Hell in a Cell Match: Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
Magnum: Oooooo doggie. This is going to be an absolute dogfight. They’re going to go places that we are not ready for. In the end, the torch will be passed, and Obi Femi will be victorious.
Colin: Ready for this. Should be explosive. I want to see blood. I want to see sweat, which is guaranteed after a few minutes with Brock Lesnar. And I want to see carnage. If this is the end of their feud, then Oba should go on top. I don’t think any other future match can top this gimmick, so probably this is the end of the road for these two together. Oba Oba Oba!
Bull: A career defining moment, and the end of an era for another. Oba wins in a bloodbath.
Gunther vs. Nick Aldis
Magnum: A lot of fans are unhappy about Gunther being put in this position, but I think we’re going to see a technical marvel. The former NWA champion will have a chance to show the world exactly what he can do. This will be great! Ultimately, I think there could be a rematch. So I’ll take Aldis to win tonight!
Colin: I am really looking forward to see Aldis back in a ring wrestling. The dude was really good before transitioning to an on-screen GM role. I’m glad he’s getting a chance to showcase his talent on WWE television, but there’s no way he is winning here. Gunther winning is the only logical outcome.
Bull: Gunther and Aldis are going to have a mat classic. For the finish, Gunther is going to get the win, but Aldis will get his appreciation from the crowd.
The Bloodline (The Usos & Jacob Fatu) vs. LA Knight, Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys
Magnum: I am loving this version of Solo. He looks like he’s being himself and getting the crowd behind him along the way. This could turn into a wild tornado brawl. I like the family staying strong here. Give me The Usos and Jacob Fatu to win here.
Colin: Who knew Solo could be a face? LOL! I’m actually enjoying him as a babyface. This could be a fun match as all six can work. Having said that, I’m pretty sure The Bloodline is going over.
Bull: Should be a crazy match. The Bloodline gotta stay strong, though. I’ll take The Bloodline for the win.
Fatal Influence vs. The Bella Twins & Paige
Magnum: Bull and I are looking forward to this one – expect him to be caught on camera singing their theme song tonight. I love the push Fatal Influence is getting, and I think it continues tonight. Fatal Influence steals a win.
Colin: Paige now needs to move away from this whole Bella Twins love-fest and go in a different direction. I would not be surprised if The Bellas turn on Paige and turn heel. Fatal Influence are being pushed nicely and I like that to continue, so Fatal Influence for the W.
Bull: Magnum is right. I freaking can’t wait for Fatal Influence, and YES I will be singing their theme song as they come out. This is gonna be so much better than people think. I’ll take my ladies from Fatal Influence.
Undisputed WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
Magnum: FINALLY these guys threw some blows last night. Took you long enough! I actually like the slow build to this story, and I think we’re for a big swerve. I think there is more juice in this orange, so I will take Punk to retain tonight.
Colin: Cody as champion is a bit “old” for now, so I do not think they will revisit that scenario for the time being. Punk just came back and surely they won’t take the title away from him just yet. It will be close, but Punk retains.
Bull: This match is going to kick ass. Last night’s promo was fantastic. Who will win? I think Punk retains and the Cody Rhodes we knew and loved…starts to slowly unravel. You read it here first.
